Where required by state law, we treat such activities as a “sale” or “sharing” and honor opt‑out rights (see Section 8). Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets. Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety, and property.
